PUBLICATIONS AND RESEARCH:
Another important area of AIRD was, undertaking problem-oriented Field Research in the area of Integrated Rural Development, especially through conducting survey and collection of data and feedback information. The main thrust of research being identification of rural problems and dissemination of strategies to solve problems and to formulate suitable action projects with low cost technology. AIRD through its Regional Rural Communication Centre, has brought out a number of publications including the monthly newsletter “AIRD NEWS”, for the benefit of the farming community. On behalf of ANGOC,AIRD undertook a study entitled “An Anti-poverty Programme and a Micro-Analysis of Social Forestry and Training”.
